Hi, I’m Shaena!
I’m a former event producer turned Professional Wing Woman, and the founder of Wing People.
I was raised by my mom, Michelle, a single parent who founded The Rainbow Society (now The Dream Factory) in Winnipeg to give children with life-threatening illnesses one truly magical day. She taught me early that when you help people feel seen, everything changes.
I’ve been on both sides of the event floor.
Closing deals as part of sales teams.
Producing major events for LinkedIn, Singularity University, Klarna, TEDx, and more.
After being laid off four times in three years, I stopped trying to fit back into systems that weren’t working and built Wing People instead.
Today, we support teams attending events by embedding friendly, highly intuitive Wing People on site to make connection intentional, human, and effective.
